Alistair Lipp (Dr) (Executive Medical Director )
Alistair joined us as the Director of Public Health in October 2006. He trained as a GP in Mid Wales and then as a Public Health Physician in Suffolk. He has worked in Pakistan and Afghanistan for aid agencies and the World Health Organisation. Alistair still undertakes consultancy work for the WHO on strategies to prevent long-term conditions and partnership working.
Alistair brings a strong interest in the prevention of ill health and the reduction of inequalities in health to the organisation.
Alistair is 49 years old and has two children age 17 and 14. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, sailing and gardening.
