Tummy bugs Norovirus, flu, Cdifficile (Cdiff) and MRSA all have one thing in common – good hygiene helps prevent them spreading. Washing hands is most important - you just need warm water and soap. Alcohol gels do not kill some bugs.

 

But there’s so much more you can do and it’s so easy…

 

Norovirus (sickness and diarrhoea)

  • You can probably treat yourself
  • Good hygiene can stop it spreading
  • Don’t go back to work or school for 48 hours afterwards
