Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
Being a patient or carer can often be a confusing time but the Patient Advice and Liaison Service is there to help, whether it is dealing with an issue or concern, finding the right person to talk to or just getting information or advice.
PALS is a free, confidential service providing patients, carers and the public with a first point of contact into the NHS. Every provider of health services across Norfolk has PALS who can:
- Answer any questions or concerns about your healthcare.
- Share your experiences of the local NHS and suggestions for improving local services.
- Offer advice and support when things go wrong.
- Provide balanced and impartial information and advice.
PALS also play an important role in helping to improving local health services. By sharing your personal experiences with the people who commission and deliver local health services, this will help to influence the way services are provided.
